ACOLYTE

Acolyte Ministry: St. Paul A.M.E. Church offers a wonderful opportunity for young people (age 7 and up) to participate in the worship experience through serving in the Acolyte Ministry. When Acolytes process and recess down the aisle at the proper times, it calls attention to the symbolic meaning of Christ leading the church – which gathers to worship, then scatters to serve.

ALLEN-CHRISTIAN

ALLEN CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR:  (ACE) is geared for K-12 and beyond. It prepares youth to be active leaders within the Church and Community, instilling in them that the Bible is still, very applicable in their lives today. ACE’s four principles are Confession of Christ, Service to Christ, Loyalty to Christ’s Church, Fellowship with Christ’s people. We meet the first and second Wednesdays at 6:00 PM with dinner of the month and various Saturdays for Community Service and outings

The Junior Usher Board serves during Worship Service on the 3rd Sunday of each month. For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand, I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10)
